Capturing Perfect Moments, Making Memories

Capturing Moments & Places, probably sums up best what I try to do with my photography. I often take photographs of places that are very familiar but which we don’t always fully appreciate visually. I am also fascinated by places and thing that are less familiar but hold a certain unique beauty. My photos range from popular tourist spots, landscapes or coastlines to old and abandoned buildings. I am intrigued by man’s lasting marks on our world.

My initial thoughts were with the quality of the photo print which I thought was exceptional. The colours really popped and matched so well with an oil on canvas painting intended for the same room. However, I wanted a white frame which Leslie did not have in stock. He took my address and within a couple of days, had arranged the framing and delivered it to my house. I wasn’t actually planning on buying photos but when browsing through a selection of Leslie’s work I was immediately taken with the images of doors. They were stunning in their simplicity and I fell in love with the red door surrounded by brickwork and the sage door with green ivy cascading around it. Leslie got them framed and they now hang in my hallway against a white backdrop, which showcases the beautiful colours in the photos
